Perform highly skilled and supervisory work over skilled trades staff engaged in the maintenance and repair of the City Waste Water Treatment Plant, Wetlands, Satellite Pump Station, Water Plant or Power Plant. Supervise and perform a variety of diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on plant equipment, including pumps, fans, gear boxes, shafts, chemical feed equipment, water lines, valves, belts, motors, electrical panels, generators, boilers, bar screens, and the like. Perform offsite pump station repair/diagnostics. High school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 5 years relevant experience and must maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Positions assigned to the water plant must possess and maintain an “A” level water operator license within one year of hire.
