Audrain Co. PWSD #2 has an immediate need for a full-time water operator in Mexico, MO. PWSD #2 strives to supply safe, potable water to nearly 1000 area resident north and west of Mexico. The position will be under the supervision of the District Manager & Chief Water Operator, assisting in maintaining the distribution system & its facilities. The position is expected to provide prompt & regular 40+ hour a week attendance to the district. The position will include managing the infrastructure of the mains, service lines, flush hydrants & valving in the system, along with performing quantitative & qualitative chemical analysis & adjustments to chemical feed systems, checking wells, pumps, motors & gauges in the well houses to maintain water quality.
