Southwest Rural Water Supply District of Barry and McDonald Counties #1 is accepting resumes for a Full Time Water Operator. Mon- Fri 8am-4pm
This position is responsible for the operation of the wells, storage, and distribution system in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
Duties also include repair, maintenance, and replacement of the district’s infrastructure, operating trucks, power, and hand tools. Must demonstrate an understanding of all applicable policies, procedures, and work methods associated with assigned duties.
Assists in reading water meters, installing new waterlines and waterline extensions, flushing and sampling. Performs other functions, tasks, and duties as assigned.
Requires on-call shifts, after hours, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED required
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must have a DS II Certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year
Must be self motivated and possess excellent communication skills.
