The City of Branson is seeking an Electrician I.

SUMMARY
● Install, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic equipment in city facilities, focusing on water treatment and wastewater facilities.
● Wire/connect communication systems.
● Set up test equipment for diagnostics.
● Diagnose/repair electrical systems and motors.
● Maintain/troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC) and monitoring systems.
● Assist with calibrating and maintaining control devices.
● Inspect power systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
● Ensure proper functioning of high-voltage equipment and emergency generators.
● Coordinate with operators and supervisors for planned or urgent electrical work.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
● High school diploma or GED equivalent
● Three (3) years of experience in electrical component installation, maintenance, and repair
● National Electric Code certification or equivalent
