The City of Sparta is currently seeking to hire a full-time person to run the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Some of the qualifications, but not limited to, are the ability to work outside in all climates, work unsupervised and complete the job satisfactorily, the ability to operate basic power tools and be able to obtain a WWTP distribution license as time requires. The range of pay will start at $20.00 to $22.00 an hour with the possibility of a higher wage with experience and Certification Licensing. Paid Health, dental and vision insurance.
