Public Water Supply District No. 1 of DeKalb County seeks a District Manager.
This position will manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of District utility systems and equipment. It will ensure that all work complies with federal, state, and local codes and regulations. The position assigns, assists, communicates, supervises, and evaluates work performed by all district staff, including clerks with P&L duties, contractors, and vendors, while ensuring code, regulatory, and Board compliance.
Required: A water certification Class DS-II license (or ability to obtain)
Ability to read/understand engineered drawings
Infrastructure management and supervisory experience
Must have good communication and managerial skills, both oral and written
Valid driver’s license
