Public Water Supply District No. 1 of DeKalb County is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position for a District Manager.
Position requires managing, coordinates, and oversees the maintenance, repair, and operation of district utility systems. Ensures all work complies with federal, state, and local codes and regulations. Assigns, assists, communicates, supervises, and evaluates work performed by district staff, contractors, and vendors, while ensuring code and regulatory compliance.
Required: A water certification Class DS-2 license (or ability to obtain)
Ability to read/understand engineered drawings
Plumbing and supervisory experience
Must have good communication and managerial skills; both oral and written
Valid driver’s license
