Job Duties:

Supervises a team comprised of engineers, designers and analytical staff
Monitors overall progress, schedule and status of the team’s capital improvement projects
Coordinates projects with Assistant Director of Operations and Operations and Maintenance Manager
Develops project budgets, schedules, and makes staff assignments for engineering support for programs in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan
Responsible for Quality Control processes on engineering design projects, including proper review and preparation of plans for public infrastructure improvements
Reviews professional services and construction contracts for division projects and programs prior to approval by the Deputy Director
Reviews or assists Senior Staff Engineers in the creation and operation of the water and wastewater modeling
