POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Jackson, Missouri is currently accepting applications for the position of

WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FOREMAN

This position is the chief Wastewater Operator, responsible for DNR and EPA compliance of the City of Jackson Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Water Pollution Control Foreman supervises all operations and personnel of the Wastewater Department and reports directly to the Director of Public Works. As a working foreman, daily duties include but are not limited to maintenance and repairs of the wastewater plant and wastewater collection system, management of departmental budget expenditures, implementation of preventative maintenance plan, review of infrastructure development plans, inspection and testing of new sewer main extensions. Communication with the public, design professionals, contractors, and other city departments and staff is also an integral part of the position.
